Hostile Environment

Paragon Close Protection’s Hostile Environment Awareness Training (HEAT) course has been created to prepare individuals or teams who are deploying to hostile or hazardous environments, to recognise and avoid potential threats and respond to incidents.

The two day course at Paragon Close Protection’s training facility in North Wales uses a system approach which initially addresses the student’s security environment and stresses the importance of travel pattern analysis, surveillance detection and attack recognition. Our belief is that  increased awareness, supplemented by the necessary skills to deal with a situation, is likely to defeat  the majority of incidents  to be experienced by individuals.

Our course consists of theory and practical senerios which is very realistic and effective. This is taught by operationally experienced  former UK Special Forces instructors.
